Constructed Evolution

Constructed Evolution invites viewers into a world where collected and fabricated materials are transformed into imaginative new life forms. In Manor Mill’s historic Cellar Gallery, this collection of mixed-media sculptures blends wood, metal, and salvaged industrial elements into creatures, plants, and hybrid structures that feel both ancient and futuristic. Balancing the mechanical with the organic, each work suggests a process of adaptation and growth, as if nature and invention have merged into a new stage of evolution. Through craftsmanship and playful ingenuity, artist Andrew Yff explores themes of resilience, transformation, and the endless potential for renewal hidden within the materials that surround us.
