Teresa Stecher is a maker of handcrafted pottery.
Born in California, she’s been living in Northern Baltimore County since 2016. Aside from a recent two year adventure living and doing pottery in Hawaii, she has practiced her craft in a barn on her property, listening to the river and trying to acclimate to the seasons. She enjoys adding a variety of surface decoration to her work and is inspired by all the places she’s lived. The city, the ocean, and the rural landscapes of Maryland all find a place in her work.
She is the Ceramics Studio Manager here at Manor Mill where she teaches classes and sells handmade work in the gallery.
