Painting and sketching has been a constant in Pats life. Her initial painting studies began as a teen at the York Academy of Arts and followed through with a fine arts degree focused on sculpture and metal smithing. While she enjoyed a professional career working in museums and the non-profit world, once retired, she made a commitment to a rewarding daily painting practice. Pats award winning art is now in numerous private collections. She has had several successful solo shows in Pennsylvania and Maryland and regularly exhibits her work in juried and group shows in the region. She has gained a reputation for focusing on small landscapes that provide an intimate interpretation of the space surrounding us.
