Breath & Sound Journey

Your body holds stories, memories, and patterns from your earliest days. But here’s the beautiful truth—you’re not stuck with these patterns forever. Your nervous system is incredibly resilient and capable of change.

Every response you’ve developed made sense at the time. Every reaction protected you when you needed it most. Now, with understanding and compassion, you can begin to write new chapters of your story.

This is where 9D Breathwork comes in —working directly with your nervous system, the control center of your emotional and physical well-being.

Woodworking 101

Saturday, September 12 • 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

In this class you will learn the ins and outs of a modern woodworking shop. What tools do what and how to use them. Safety being key to the long term enjoyment of any woodworking endeavors will be the focus for all tools used. By the end of the class you should have all the knowledge needed to purchase and take a raw piece of lumber and turn it into whatever your imagination can come up with. You will leave this class with your very own finished item be it a serving tray or your very own custom clipboard! 16 or older (younger allowed with the presence of a paid for parent). Do you have nut allergies- believe it or not but milling walnut lumber can trigger someone with nut allergies. If nut allergies are a concern, walnut will not be used during the class. $140 per person: $100 for instruction, $40 for materials

Dried flower panels with Spore and Seed

Join Courtney from Spore and Seed in creating everlasting framed floral art. We will work together to construct framed panels and create a dried floral scene by weaving flowers from our farm into your framed armature. Frames are made by Tom Parmelee, the Manor Mill barn manager!

Take A Bow! introduces early elementary students to the world of theater! Join us this fall for our production of Squirm! by John Jacobson & John Higgans.

Join the wiggles and squiggles as the Itsy Bitsy Spider, Daddy Long Legs, Hook Worm, Snake, and a host of other critters take over the stage. But wait! No need to scream, just listen carefully and you will learn how things that make us squirm can be A-okay!

Students will practice dialogue, music, dancing and make costumes and props for our stage.. Students will discover how to use expression, body language, and voice to add their own unique creative energy to all types of magical characters. Join our inviting, creative, and safe environment where your little actor will be able to step into the spotlight!

This course is for children ages 5 - 8.

This course is prorated to miss the first class on Sunday, September 6. All of our classes will culminate in a show on November 15!

This course meets on Sundays, September 13 - November 15, 10-11:30AM.

Tone Tours: Baritone Ukulele for Ages 8 - 12

Let your child shine like the rock star they’ve always dreamed of becoming! Tone Tours is a unique class that provides students with an exciting opportunity to take a deep dive into the captivating world of music through hands-on learning of a single instrument. Instead of enrolling in one-on-one music lessons, this experience provides an opportunity to embrace the joy of playing music as a group. Tone Tours is more than just a music class—it's a nurturing environment where collaboration is key. Children are encouraged to inspire one another, work through challenges together, and provide mutual support as they navigate their musical journey. Watch as your child builds their confidence while having fun and making memories that will inspire creativity! This session of Tone Tours will focus on the fundamentals of the baritone ukulele.

Ages 8 - 12. Common Tone will provide all instruments.

ToneLab: Baritone Ukulele

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play your favorite song on the ukulele? If so, then this session of ToneLab is for you! With the guidance of our talented Common Tone teachers, you will learn the fundamental techniques of the baritone ukulele from the ground up, so don’t worry - no prior experience is necessary! By exploring the basics of strumming, chord progressions, and music notation, you will build the necessary skills to play any song. And by using the provided baritone ukulele, every song you learn can be easily transferred to the guitar. Let’s make music together! Adult class: Common Tone can provide instruments. Performance: Opportunity to share at Songwriters night on 10/26!

Beginner Realistic Colored Pencil Drawing

Wednesday, September 16 • 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Students will be introduced to the basics of realistic colored pencil technique while drawing a red plum. Techniques including layering, color mixing, shading, preserving highlights, blending, and burnishing will be discussed and applied in the students' drawings. Students will also practice using a reference photo as a guide to identifying and reproducing realistic colors as well as locating highlights, shadows, and midtones. No prior colored pencil experience is necessary; some drawing experience will be helpful but is not required. All materials provided. Ages 14+

Beginner Weaving on a Rigid Heddle Loom

Friday, September 18 • 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Learn how to weave a scarf on a rigid heddle loom in this 2-session class. (Sept 18 and Sept 25 at 11:30am) In the first session, skills covered will be learning about a rigid heddle loom, warping the loom, and practicing weaving your scarf. You will be able to take it home with you to finish it at your own pace. In the second session, you will learn how to remove it from the loom, and we’ll discuss various finishing techniques.

Nature Walk & Bleach Dye Tees with Boring Tie Dye

Friday, September 18 • 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Come on a nature walk and forage leaves with us to create your own bleach dye tie dye shirt with leaves you picked yourself! You’ll take your tee home with you and be able to enjoy it for years after!

Intro to Leather working: Belt making class

Saturday, September 19 • 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

In this class, each student will create a handcrafted leather belt from start to finish. Prior to registration, students will choose their leather and buckle style to make a unique belt that reflects their personal style.

Drywall Essentials is a practical, beginner-friendly class designed to help homeowners confidently repair and finish drywall around the house. You’ll learn how to cut, hang, and secure drywall sheets, as well as master essential techniques for patching holes, taping, mudding, and feathering seams for a smooth, seamless finish. With a strong focus on proper tool use, dust control, and real-world application, this course builds the skills you need to tackle minor wall repairs, prepare surfaces for paint, and make your home’s walls look like new.

Playing professionally since her early teens, Talbot Mayo is no stranger to the stage. Praised for her “peerless” voice, (drawing comparisons to Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, and Sierra Ferrell), she delivers memorable performances night in and night out. As a songwriter, Talbot weaves together a variety of genres and sounds to create something unique but familiar. Rooted in old-time bluegrass and country standards, Talbot’s music also draws influence from honky-tonk and modern alternative rock. Lyrically she highlights mundane chores, folk lore, heartache, the family farm, and anything else that catches her eye. The Band features some of the region's most talented musicians, including Talbot’s dad, Bill Mayo (bass, vocals), Dave Rich (drums), and Lucas Chohany (Guitar, Mandolin, vocals). Praised for their high energy and authentic, unique, but still relatable sound, the Talbot Mayo Band has wide appeal for both country music fans and non-country music fans alike. VERONNEAU - Blue Tapestry - Celebrating Joni Mitchell & Carole King

Award-winning duo VERONNEAU reimagine the classic songs of Joni Mitchell's "Blue" and Carole King's "Tapestry". Two iconic albums by two iconic women which put women center-stage as both composers and performers and introduced the era of the singer-songwriter. In songs and stories Blue Tapestry features classic songs like Case of You, Blue, You've Got A Friend, So Far Away, California and You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman and explores the stories behind the songs in the context of the post-Woodstock era. VERONNEAU's "Blue Tapestry" 2025 album release, played extensively on folk and jazz radio and rose high in the charts. Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau and UK guitarist Ken Avis tour in Europe, the US and Canada, presenting the music of their albums which have featured in the US Top 10 charts for world, jazz and folk music. The duo have performed at venues such as Strathmore, Blues Alley, Kennedy Center, DC Jazz Festival, and the Florida Folk Festival Their original songs have featured in films and have been song contest winners. They have seven WAMMIE Awards under their belts in the Best Album, Vocals, Band, & Recording categories.
