WEEK AT A GLANCE

In this class, participants will be provided with pre-cut leather for 2 small projects. 1 keychain, and 1 bookmark. Participants will be taught how to thread a needle and saddle stitch the items. The instructor will guide the class in the technique before starting the projects 15-30 minutes. There will be a variety of colors to choose from. Each student will pick the project color they want to work on ~5 minutes. The remainder of the time students will stitch their items with floating instructor to assist as needed.

Appropriate for ages 14+, bilateral fine motor coordination intact.

Beginner Double Bevel Marquetry with Tavi Harwood

Saturday, June 27 • 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Dive into the elegant art of marquetry with a hands-on Double Bevel Marquetry Workshop! Using the scroll saw and double bevel technique, you'll cut domestic and exotic hardwood veneers to create a beautiful bird picture. We'll set your finished design into the top of a walnut box that Tavi will make ahead of class. Whether you're a beginner or DIY enthusiast, you'll master this specialized technique and go home with a finished box showcasing your own craftsmanship.

Electrical Essentials with Michael Guarraia

Sunday, June 28 • 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Electrical Essentials is a practical, beginner-friendly class designed to help homeowners understand and safely handle common electrical tasks around the house. You’ll learn how your electrical system works, including circuit breakers, outlets, and switches, as well as how to safely test circuits and replace basic fixtures. With a strong focus on safety and real-world application, this course builds confidence and knowledge so you can tackle minor electrical projects, troubleshoot issues, and know when it’s time to call a professional.

Cutting Boards with Tom Parmelee

Tuesday, June 30 • 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

In this two-part class, participants will make their own cutting boards to use in their homes. Students will learn about different species of woods to use for food safe projects, how to join pieces of wood together, and different oils for sealing them. We encourage you to take Woodworking 101 before signing up for this class to become comfortable with the tools and machinery, though it is not a requirement. This class meets on Tuesday, 6/30 and 7/2, 6-9PM.

Absolute Beginner Mandolin with Pat Hundley: 4 Classes

Wednesday, July 1 • 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM

Do you have a mandolin hanging around that's itching to be played? Does it have all eight strings? If not, bring a set of fresh strings in and we'll get it strung. Sign up for the Absolute Beginner Mandolin Class to learn the string names and how to tune them, how to play fiddle tunes and play basic chords. Old Time tunes and bluegrass songs and techniques will be covered. Ages 14 and up. This will run for 4 weeks: Wed 7/1, 7/15, 7/22 and 7/29 at 4 pm each week. Please bring: a music stand and a playable mandolin.

Beginner Guitar with Pat Hundley: 4 Classes

Wednesday, July 1 • 4:45 PM – 5:45 PM

This guitar workshop will concentrate on learning basic chords for beginners focusing on bluegrass, folk and Americana styles. We will start with some basic songs then work together to decide what songs the group wants to learn. Ages 14-adult. No previous experience required. This class will run for 4 weeks: Wed 7/1, 7/15, 7/22 and 7/29 at 4:45 pm each week.

*Please note that this class does not meet on 7/8.

Please bring: a music stand and a playable guitar. Guitar buying assistance available at no charge!

Intermediate Guitar with Pat Hundley: 4 Classes

Wednesday, July 1 • 5:45 PM – 6:45 PM

Colebrook Road

Friday, July 10 • 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Colebrook Road is a five-piece bluegrass band from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, known for blending traditional bluegrass with fresh, modern energy. Formed in 2009, the band has earned national recognition through festival performances, contest wins, and chart-topping releases, including albums that landed in the Billboard Bluegrass Top 10. Their sound is driven by strong original songwriting, tight harmonies, and a clear respect for bluegrass roots without feeling bound by them.

Featuring guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, and upright bass, Colebrook Road delivers dynamic live shows that balance technical skill with heart and storytelling. Drawing influences from classic bluegrass, country, and beyond, the band creates music that feels both familiar and forward-looking, appealing to longtime bluegrass fans and new listeners alike.

Jake Eddy

Saturday, July 11 • 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Jake Eddy is the leading torchbearer of solo bluegrass flatpicking and was called “one of the most exciting young guitarists” by Fretboard Journal. In 2023 he was invited to perform at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, performed 3 times on the Grand Ole Opry, and was nominated for IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year. His style is influenced heavily by the syncopated playing of Clarence White and he cites influences from Doc Watson and John Coltrane to Jimmy Bryant and Roy Clark. Bluegrass Unlimited says Jake’s recent album is “proof we live in the golden age of flatpicking” and when you hear him, you will have no choice but to agree.
