Rye Valley
Working-class Americana troubadours delivering original songs and a signature sound from the heart of the rustbelt, the Cuyahoga Valley. Rye Valley grew out of the rich musical soil unique to Akron, Ohio, after nearly a decade of casual collaboration between founding members, Brett Auerbach (not related to Dan) and Landon Kearns. The two formally launched Rye Valley in 2021 to showcase the pairing of Auerbach’s heartfelt songwriting and soulful tenor with Kearns’s percussive multi-instrumentalism and subtle harmonies. Tyler Lobdell’s guitar wizardry brought a trio to life, further honing the emotive “Rye Valley Sound”. In the fall of ’24 and again in the winter of ’25, the Rye Valley Trio toured as opening support for legendary singer/songwriter Clem Snide (Eef

Stewart recently won two Wammie Awards for Best World Album and Best World Artist. “There is a hushed intimacy in her delivery, as though each lyric were written to be shared around a quiet fire or during a late evening walk through the city.” — Iggy Mag (FR)

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Leslie Mendelson has won over both devoted fans and fellow artists with her enchanted voice and evocative songwriting. Jackson Browne praises her timeless melodies, hearing echoes of Burt Bacharach and Carole King, while Jakob Dylan says voices like hers “can get away with almost anything,” leaving her with few peers. This summer she returns with her fourth studio album, After The Party, produced by three collaborators: the legendary Peter Asher, in-demand Tyler Chester, and her longtime songwriting partner Steve McEwan. Recorded at Jackson Browne’s Grove Masters studio in Santa Monica, the album features an ace band including Waddy Wachtel, John Jorgenson, Leland Sklar, Derrick Anderson, Jim Keltner, and Abe Rounds. Mendelson explains that after her previous album, If You Can’t Say Anything Nice…, was shaped by the dark socio-political climate of 2018-2019 and the pandemic, she needed to have fun making music again, and the chance to work with these musical geniuses felt like the stars aligning.
Across its ten tracks, After The Party blends folk-rock and pop-Americana, evoking Laurel Canyon with the grit and wit of Brooklyn, her home for over two decades. Songs like “Rock And Roll On The Radio,” “Signs Of Life,” and “I Know A Lot Of People” feel both nostalgic and new, while the first single, “Other Girls,” pairs aural voyeurism with sexual openness and, as Mendelson describes it, is about women empowering women and a commentary on our ever-changing world. Standouts “Have a Little Heart,” “The Good Life,” and the title track reflect on a life worth living and appreciating the little things. Mendelson hopes the record connects, offering personal moments, fun sing-along moments, and reflection as an emotional journey, and Peter Asher calls her a rare singer who combines elegant precision with deep emotional resonance, with “a remarkable voice and one we need to hear.”

Ragged Union's signature bluegrass-and-beyond sound has appeared at festivals, concert series and events all across the USA, England, and China, since 2013. Past performances include IBMA Wide Open Bluegrass, John Hartford Memorial Festival, Northwest String Summit, Durango Meltdown, Shrewsbury Folk Festival (England), and the Qingdao International Beer Festival (China), to name a few. The band’s recipe for tasty contemporary bluegrass contains three main ingredients: ‘Outsider Songwriting’ - poetic lyrics that stretch beyond the ‘normal’ country themes, ‘Timeless Melodies’ that are new, yet sound familiar and classic, and ‘Unexpected Arrangements', rich compositional ideas, changes in feel and tempo, and an overall songwriting approach that isn’t trying to conform to what everyone else is doing. All of these concepts come together in an impressively exciting and memorable live performance.

Slap Dragon was born in 2023 when bassist Scott Mulvahill and vocalist Laura Berens began writing together and quickly stumbled into a sound that felt both fresh and familiar. Backed by some of Nashville’s finest session musicians, the band fuses soulful vocals, acoustic textures, and groove-heavy arrangements—a sound that blends bluegrass, disco, funk, and R&B into something unmistakably their own. Their music is crafted with intention, yet their live performances always leave room for improvisation, surprise, and play.
The band made its live debut on June 1, 2024 in Nashville, followed shortly by a performance at Bonnaroo, where their infectious energy and musicianship helped them stand out. Their first singles, “Girl Dinner” and “Already Won,” introduced listeners to their signature mix of tight arrangements and joyful spontaneity. On social media, Slap Dragon has begun building notable momentum, with steady growth on TikTok and Instagram—including an Instagram video of “Already Won” surpassing 260,000 views.
Community is at the core of Slap Dragon’s identity. Scott and Laura aim to create spaces where audiences feel free to move, laugh, and connect— shows that feel more like shared celebrations than performances. Their blend of groove, humor, and musical depth attracts listeners across genres and generations.
In October 2025, Slap Dragon surpassed their Kickstarter fundraising goals, paving the way for their debut full-length album, set for release in 2026. With growing online traction, an engaged fanbase, and a dynamic live show, Slap Dragon continues to expand their presence onstage and online—offering a musical experience rooted in community, musicianship, and pure fun.

Reed Turchi is a Grammy Winning musician, poet, and producer from Swannanoa, North Carolina, now living in Brooklyn.
Hailed as "Beyond genre constraints" by The Oxford American, and described as "a blast of blues rock…both crafted and improvised" by Rolling Stone, Turchi has performed his slide guitar & kudzu boogie sound across the US and Europe since 2010.
Featured by NPR, PBS, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, No Depression, KEXP, Living Blues, The Oxford American, Daytrotter, and many more, Turchi has established himself as one of the most varied and prolific artists and producers operating in the roots-music world today.
Recorded in a basement in 2010, Road Ends in Water was the first album by Reed Turchi, and showcases his signature slide-guitar and kudzu-boogie in its rawest, most North Mississippi-inspired form. With special guest Luther Dickinson of North Mississippi Allstars playing through a blown-up tape-machine on three songs, the album ranges from uptempo rollicking blues-rock to heavy, fuzzed-out riffs. The inspiration of no-holds-barred dueling-slide-guitar, one-chord romp is clear, as Road Ends in Water offers up a series of originals and adaptations that all end up in a swamp of romp-and-groove. Originally released in 2012 in a pre-streaming world, the album has been lost for over a decade, and has been totally re-mixed and re-mastered for this new release, which showcases a basement boogie in its early glory.

“It is inspiring to hear a Nashville band with old-time songs and genuine talent…”
- AMERICANA UK
Combining the best of Americana and blues melodies with timeless Southern storytelling, award winning vocalist Stephanie Adlington and guitarist Aaron Lessard draw influence from the likes of Tom Waits and Ray LaMontagne, along with bedrock artists such as Patsy Cline and Hank Williams Sr. A Tale Of Two has opened for notable artists such as Mary Gauthier, Grayson Capps, and Peter Mulvey. Not unlike the artists who inspired them, the duo’s songs frequently dabble in stories of revenge, drinking and feature sinners of all stripes and persuasions.
Oozing an infectious stage presence and chemistry that carries over from the music to the back and forth banter between songs, “A Tale Of Two” offers a different kind of Americana – storytelling by a swampy pair of retro raconteurs spinning blues arias with soul, intrigue and power.

McKinney is a bass player and singer-songwriter. She spent her formative years in southern West Virginia where she literally LIVED inside a music school. Deeply incapable of leaving the Appalachian mountains, but needing an escape from her 6,000 person hometown, she landed right around the bend in Asheville, NC.
When McKinney isn’t on stage you might find her teaching music lessons at LEAF Global Arts, working shows at The Orange Peel, or at lock on the rugby pitch.
McKinney's music genre is about as fluid as the average Asheville resident's sexuality. Her Indie Pop sound is blended with influence from her blues singer mother, a BFA in Jazz, and the 8 year old version of herself that just wants to play classic rock. Although pinning down her genre may be hard, you can consistently expect sad lyrics. You will probably enjoy her lyricism if you are emotionally suppressed and enjoy listening to sad songs to make yourself feel better.
