Join Common Tone for a weekly kids music class! Commonplay provides interactive moments for caregivers to sing, play instruments, dance, and connect with their child. Children will develop confidence and music appreciation through playful exploration. In every class, you will experience live music that is dynamic and imaginative and will encourage everyone to move, sing, and create together. Grab a scarf and play with us! Common Tone music enrichment programming promotes authentic music exploration. Founded in 2024 by Baltimore-based teachers Mike Feathers and Beth Pacione, Common Tone encourages students of all levels to develop a love for music and a shared desire to explore its boundless possibilities. Through thoughtful curricula, original music, and interactive learning experiences, students explore their creativity and express themselves authentically. Common Tone believes in cultivating a community of dedicated educators and musicians who engage and inspire students by implementing the use of authentic instruments and encouraging self-discovery through music. Best for ages 0-5 years.
Please Note: Our regular instructor, Jacob, will be traveling through August 19, so we’re excited to welcome Pat Hundley as our substitute instructor during his absence.
Pat is no stranger to Manor Mill! He has taught several children’s music classes here and currently leads our adult guitar and mandolin classes. With more than 38 years of experience performing for children, Pat also spent many years teaching kindergarten in Baltimore County—and even drove a school bus! His warmth, enthusiasm, and love of music make him a wonderful fit, and we’re delighted to have him leading the class while Jacob is away.
There will be NO CLASS July 8 or July 15. We will pick back up on July 22!
