Do you have a mandolin hanging around that's itching to be played? Does it have all eight strings? If not, bring a set of fresh strings in and we'll get it strung. Sign up for the Absolute Beginner Mandolin Class to learn the string names and how to tune them, how to play fiddle tunes and play basic chords. Old Time tunes and bluegrass songs and techniques will be covered.
Ages 14 and up. This will run for 4 weeks: Wed 11/4, 11/11, 11/18 and 12/2 at 4 pm each week. Please note that the class will not meet on 11/25.
Please bring: a music stand and a playable mandolin.
