In this presentation, Robert Jones, who has been restoring barns and historic structures for over 60 years, will discuss this and more, including the five different styles of timber frames with and without dimensional lumber. The second half of this presentation will be a hands-on demo on how timber frames can be built using hand augers, hand mortise, draw knives, adzes and ... a giant wooden mallet! <p>Robert will be joined by several of his Amish colleagues who will share their knowledge and skills as well.</p>
