Create your own Framed Stained Glass Mosaic

Rose Rogge with Mosaics By Rose

Participants will make their very own stained glass mosaic, a timeless piece of art that will transform the light in their home for years to come. What on earth is a stained glass mosaic? You start with a picture frame with only the clear glass. The mosaic is created by glueing broken colored glass onto the clear glass in the design of your own creation. The final touch is grouting the mosaic to fill in the opening between the colored glass. Participates will need to wear a mask while using glue. Eye protection and respirator are included. Frame size will be 8x10. Ages 16+

I’m Rose 🌹 I’m a stained glass mosaic artist from Kingsville Maryland. I started making mosaics in 2008 and haven’t stopped since. Getting to replicate the beauty of nature through colored glass is one of this more prevalent gifts in my life. In my free time I’m usually gardening, trail running with my dog Vida and soon husband Mark, backpacking, at chorus practice, at a hippy festival somewhere, or at Boordy Vineyards. I’m very passionate about planting trees and trying to help our environment. This desire is reflected in my art. I try to use as much rescued and repurposed materials as possible.
